Over his decade-long career, he’s been captivating audiences globally, with notable gigs in Brazil at D.EDGE, São Paulo, and Bali’s Jenja. Prunk’s style, influenced by artists like Kerri Chandler and Djebali, is warm, sexy, and dancefloor-oriented, earning him a residency with Straf_Werk and regular appearances at DGTL, including their Barcelona festival.
Prunk’s international presence is notable, with performances in Miami, the Dominican Republic, Moscow, Monaco, Barcelona, Austria, and numerous Dutch festivals like Awakenings and Loveland Festival. His Indonesian heritage makes his gigs at Bali’s Jenja particularly special, while playing at São Paulo’s D.EDGE was a dream come true.
The upcoming year looks promising for Prunk, with appearances at Amsterdam Open Air, Nassau Festival, All We Want Festival, Welcome to the Future Festival, and a PIV stage hosting at The Ark, a party cruise from Barcelona to Ibiza.
Prunk’s collaboration with Chris Stussy has been fruitful, resulting in the ‘Material’ EP on EWax and the ‘Life EP’ on Moulton Music, both catching the attention of vocalist Alex Mills. His partnership with Bas Roos led to the track “What I Do,” featured on the Defected in the House Ibiza 2016 compilation.
Prunk’s distinct approach to DJing and producing has firmly established him in the dynamic world of electronic music, with no signs of slowing down.
